Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited (KFTL) has implemented changes to its customer service process at the Wharfage office, effective Monday, June 24, 2019.
New Process Flow
The previous customer area has been closed off for renovation and an adjacent area has been created with the following process flow:
Clients enter the new area where they are issued a ticket by the security guard or customer service representative.
Tickets with red/orange numbers are issued to customers who pay using epayment, while tickets with black/blue numbers are issued to clients who pay using cash/card/cheques.
Cashiers serve clients according to a number sequence.
Epayment customers are served by a dedicated cashier.
Clients waiting to be served are seated either in the new customer area or the additional seating area (which is temporarily located at the building across from Wharfage)
Clients seated in the additional seating area are notified by the security guard or customer service representative when to proceed to the cashier to be served
